PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN AUTOMOTIVE PAINTING PROCESS PADA MATA KULIAH TEKNOLOGI PENGECATAN KENDARAAN MAHASISWA S1 PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN OTOMOTIF UNESA

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum tersedianya perangkat pembelajaran berupa modul dengan kompetensi yang secara khusus digunakan untuk mempelajari proses pengecatan kendaraan. Sedangkan metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan masih bersifat konvensional dimana pengetahuan berbasis lapangan yang dipadukan dengan proses belajar mengajar masih belum tersusun secara sistematis. Oleh karena itu, kami mengembangkan modul pembelajaran yang di desain secara inovatif untuk menunjang kompetensi proses pengecatan kendaraan yang sekaligus sebagai panduan praktikum. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa S1 PTM Otomotif yang telah memprogram mata kuliah teknologi pengecatan kendaraan pada semester genap 2017/2018. Model yang digunakan dalam pengembangan modul ini adalah 4-D Model. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar validasi modul, angket respon mahasiswa serta pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil validitas dari dosen ahli sebesar 3,94 dengan kategori cukup valid. Respon mahasiswa sebesar 87% dengan kategori sangat setuju. Sedangkan hasil belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 52%.

This research has not been backed by the availability of learning devices in the form of modules with competencies that are specifically used for studying the process of painting vehicles. While the learning methods applied are still conventional in nature where knowledge-based field combined with the teaching and learning process are still not systematically arranged. Therefore, we develop learning modules designed to support innovative competence in the process of painting the vehicles as well as practical guidance. This type of research is research development with a research subject undergraduate students who have Automotive PTM program the vehicle painting technology courses in the semester even 2017/2018. Model used in the development of this module is a 4-D Model. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive method. Research instrument used to collect the data validation module sheet is now student response, as well as pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of the research that has been done is invalidated the results of the validity of expert lecturers of 3.94 with categories is quite valid. Student response amounted to 87% strongly agree with categories. Whereas the results of a study of college students has increased by an average percentage of 52%.
