Abstract

Abstract

Module is a teaching aid that can be learned everywhere and every time. In Design Techniques course, learning materials were rarely to be found. The goals, which were expected, were to construct module in order to support Design Techniques course and as a teaching aid so that the college students would be excited in learning Design Techniques course and as innovation for the college students in designing a machine that environmentally friendly. The research methodology that was applied was Research and Development (R&D) with development model namely Four-D Model that was the most efficient model in constructing module that consisted of: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The final results of the present research showed that the developed module entitled “Modul Perancangan Alat Pengaduk Aspal Dari Limbah Plastik” was decent to be used after being validated by material and item expert lecturer, media expert lecturer, and language expert lecturer. Since it achieved validation percentage ranged from 82.1% to 84.6%. Moreover, the college students’ responses after using module showed very positive responses, since after observing the college students when were given theory or practice using the module, the total results gotten was 76.6% which categorized into very interested category, the results were filled by the college students also showed total percentage 87.8% that can be categorized very decent.
