UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI LIFE SKILL EDUCATION PADA PROGRAM KEAHLIAN TEKNIK PEMESINAN DI SMK ANTARTIKA SURABAYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran melalui pendidikan kecakapan hidup dan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada mata diklat melakukan pekerjaan dengan mesin bubut. Obyek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas XI TPM SMK Antartika Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas ( Classroom Action Research). Metode analisis data menggunakan diskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar pengamatan siswa, angket, dan soal tes. Hasil belajar siswa tercapai jika dapat mencapai ketuntatasan dalam belajar, dengan cara memberikan soal tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecakapan hidup yang dilakukan oleh siswa untuk kecakapan sosial pada siklus I mendapatkan presentase 41,5% tergolong cukup baik ditinjau dari kerjasama yang masih rendah, kemudian siklus II mendapatkan 68,8% tergolong baik terlihat kerjasama yang mulai dilakukan siswa, dan pada siklus III terjadi peningkatan menjadi 93,5% tergolong sangat baik tercermin kerjasama dan tanggung jawab sosial antar siswa. Untuk pengelolaan pembelajaran di siklus I mendapat presentase 48 % tergolong cukup baik, di siklus ke II meningkat menjadi 65 % tergolong baik, dan di siklus ke III peningkatan mencapai 91 % tergolong sangat baik, sedangkan aktivitas siswa (perilaku kognitif dan afektif) di siklus I mendapat presentase rata-rata 39,3% tergolong cukup baik, di siklus II terjadi peningkatan dengan mendapat presentase rata-rata 69 % tergolong baik, siklus III terjadi peningkatan dengan mendapat presentase rata-rata 92,5% tergolong sangat baik. Tanggapan siswa menunjukkan 92% tergolong sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa yang tuntas pada siklus I ada sebanyak 6 siswa (20%), siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 15 siswa (50%) dan pada siklus III siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 26 siswa (86%). Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Kecakapan Hidup, Prestasi Belajar ABSTRACK This study aims to determine how the students respond to learning through life skills education and to increase student achievement in the eyes of training do the job with a lathe. Object of this study were 30 students of class XI TPM SMK Antartika Surabaya. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). Methods of data analysis using descriptive qualitative, while the instrument used in this study include student observation sheet, questionnaire, and test questions. Learning outcomes achieved when students can achieve ketuntatasan in learning, by providing a test question. The results showed that the life skills conducted by students for social skills in cycle I get a percentage of 41.5% is quite good in terms of cooperation is low, then the second cycle 68.8% earn quite good looks cooperation started students, and the third cycle increased to 93.5% as very well reflected in the cooperation and social responsibility among students. For the management of learning in the cycle I got a percentage of 48% is quite good, in the second cycle to increase to 65% classified as good, and in the third cycle to increase at 91% as very good, while the activity of students (cognitive behavioral and affective) in the first cycle received an average percentage of 39.3% is quite good, there was an increase in the second cycle to get a percentage of the average 69% classified as good, with an increase in cycle III gets an average percentage of 92.5% as very good. Student responses showed 92% as very good. While the learning outcomes of students who completed the first cycle there are as many as 6 students (20%), the second cycle students who pass as many as 15 students (50%) and the third cycle students who completed by 26 students (86%).
