Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the feasibility, response of faculty, and students to the development of the Trainer Ignition System Module Daihatsu Taruna EFI as a guideline for Automotive Electrical Practice in the S1 mechanical engineering education study program. This research is a development research that refers to the Dick and Carey development model. Data collection techniques are carried out using questionnaires for expert lecturers, teaching lecturers, and students. Odd semester 2021/2022 students who program automotive electrical practice courses are targeted by researchers. Validation results by expert lecturers are 3.45 (material), 3.42 (design), and 4.00 (language) (Valid). The values when percentageed consecutively are 86.25%, 85.25%, and 100% (Decent). The response of teaching lecturers and students in a row is 100% (Decent) and 94.25% (Decent). It can be concluded that the "Ignition System Module" is feasible and can be used as a guideline for Automotive Electrical Practice of Automotive System Materials.
