PERAN DAN MANAJEMEN BURSA KERJA KHUSUS (BKK) SMK NEGERI 1 KEDIRI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERSERAPAN LULUSAN

Abstract

SMK aims to prepare graduates who are ready to work, ironically SMK is the biggest contributor to unemployment in Indonesia. SMK's effort to overcome unemployment is to hold a program called Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK). The purpose of this study was to determine the role and management of BKK at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri in increasing graduate absorption, as well as knowing the success and factors that influence BKK. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Place of research at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri. Research informants were determined by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data validation technique uses technical triangulation. The data obtained were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the role of BKK in increasing the absorption of graduates is shown by means of industrial cooperation, offering graduates, providing guidance, recruitment, job fairs, and tracing graduates. BKK management is done with planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. Overall BKK SMK Negeri 1 Kediri has succeeded in carrying out its role even though there are inhibiting factors experienced.
