MINAT SISWA TEKNIK PEMESINAN TERHADAP PERGURUAN TINGGI, DUNIA KERJA, DAN WIRAUSAHA DI SMK NEGERI 1 KEDIRI

Abstract

This secondary education consists of Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational School (SMK). One of the high school levels is Vocational School (SMK), places a strong emphasis on students developing certain skills and being prepared to enter the world of work. This research focuses on analyzing how interested students of mechanical engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri in college, the world of work, and entrepreneurships, factors that influence interest, obstacles faced, and also preparation made by students to determine the choice to continue at the level they are interested in. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation using the snowball sampling technique. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis techniques with the stages of data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion drawing. From the results of this research it is hoped that students and the school will be able to what is needed to supports students interest in continuing to the next level such as vii college, the world of work, and entrepreneurship so that graduates of SMK Negeri 1 Kediri become useful human resources according to the level interested in
