PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PRAKTIK PEMBUBUTAN MENGGUNAKAN WORK PREPARATION SHEET KELAS XI JURUSAN TEKNIK PEMESINAN DI SMK NEGERI PURWOSARI

Abstract

The application of work preparation sheet learning media can be used support the teaching and learning process so that it helps teachers convey material before practice takes place. The learning media created contains a correct understanding of work drawings, job sheet, and work step (WPS). Students use it during practice to get results that are in accordance with the reference made. This study aims to determine students’ practical learning outcomes, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the application of this learning media. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri Purwosari, department of mechanical engineering. The method used in this study is a Quasi Experimental Design whose implementation uses the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The population and sample in this study were class XI TPM. Data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study: student responses to the application of WPS learning media have a very good response with an average value of 3.39. Hypothesis Testing using a T test of 0,031 is less than 0,05, it can be concluded that this study stated that was there was a significant difference in the practical learning  outcomes of students using WPS learning media. Calculation of the N-gain test obtained a value of 53,7265 which indicates that the effectiveness of WPS learning media is included in the quite effective category. Thus it is concluded that the application of WPS learning media is feasible to apply.
