This study aims to analyse the implementation, determine the factors that influence, and the benefits of implementing a practical equipment maintenance management system in the workshop of the machining engineering department of SMKN 1 Sambeng. This research is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection methods using interviews, observations, and documentation, data analysis techniques using flow model data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study in the implementation of maintenance management are good and in accordance with existing rules, but there are still some obstacles such as the lack  of student awareness in maintaining practical equipment, there is no competent special technician, lack of funding, and the implementation is sometimes not on time. However, these problems can be overcome well and the benefits can be felt by all compenents in the machining engineering department of SMKN 1 Sambeng.
