Abstract

Occupational health and safety are crucial factors that need to be taken into account in school workshops in order to provide students with the skills they will need in the workplace. Examining the application of occupational safety and health in school workshops and its effect on work readiness is the goal of this study. The approach taken for the study was qualitative, gathering information through documentation, interviews, and observation regarding the application of workplace health and safety in school. Increased awareness of potential risks, and enforcement strict occupational safety and health policies and implementation of appropriate SOPs. In addition, there is a need to invest in modern safety and health equipment and routine maintenance to ensure a safe working environment and facilities that meet workshop standards. It is hoped that this research can increase students' awareness of the importance of occupational safety and health. Implementing effective occupational safety and health in school workshops, learning becomes safe and can provide the necessary provisions for students to the world of work
