DEVELOPMENT OF WEB-BASED LEARNING MEDIA GOOGLE SITES SMAW WELDING MATERIALS TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS XI TPM STUDENTS AT SMK PGRI 2 JOMBANG

Abstract

As technology and information advances, educators are encouraged to create innovative, effective and
efficient learning media to be used in efforts to improve student learning outcomes. One of the media being
developed is through website access such as Google Sites. The objectives of this research are (1) To
determine the feasibility of interactive learning media based on the Google Sites website for welding theory
subjects for class XI TPM students at SMK PGRI 2 Jombang. (2) Knowing student learning outcomes after
conducting interactive learning based on the Google Sites website on welding theory subjects for class XI
TPM SMK PGRI 2 Jombang. (3) Knowing students' responses after using interactive learning media based
on the Google Sites website in the welding theory subject class XI TPM SMK PGRI 2 Jombang. The
research method used is the R&D (Research and Development) method. Measurement of the validity of
development in this thesis uses student response questionnaires, material expert validator questionnaires,
media expert validator questionnaires, and language expert questionnaires, comparing the average scores
in the control and experimental classes. The results of this research are expected to be that interactive media
based on Google Sites can improve student learning outcomes so that this media can be used as a
consideration by educators for use in the learning process in vocational schools.
