PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PANDUAN PRAKTIKUM KONTROL RELAY UNTUK MENUNJANG MATA KULIAH INDTRUMENTASI DAN KENDALI PADA PROGRAM STUDI S1 PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN UNESA

Abstract

This study aims to develop a suitable relay control practicum guidebook and students are able to understand the relay control practicum material using the relay control trainer learning media, and get a good response from students of the UNESA Mechanical Engineering Education study program. The background is the difficulty of students understanding the relay control material on the trainer media that is not equipped with a guide, as well as the lack of student skills in relay control practicum. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collection instruments include validation questionnaires from expert validators (material, media, language) and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study are the feasibility of the relay control practicum guidebook from material experts of 3.51 including the very feasible category, from language experts of 3.34 including the very feasible category, and from media experts of 3.53 including the very feasible category. If averaged, the value of 3.46 is included in the very feasible category. The student response to the relay control practicum guidebook obtained a score of 3.78, which is in the very good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the relay control practicum guidebook can be used as teaching material to support the relay control sub-chapter of the Instrumentation and Control course.
