PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW PADA MATERI POROS PENGGERAK RODA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI TKR DI SMK PGRI 1 LAMONGAN

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang lulusannya diharapkan mempunyai keterampilan yang sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya untuk terjun ke dunia kerja dan juga dapat melanjutkan ke perguruantinggi. Oleh karena itu, guru dituntut mampu mentransformasikan ilmunya kepada siswa sesuai dengan kompetensi yang siswa miliki. Salah satu upaya tersebut adalah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran yang bisa  meningkatkan aktivitas, minat serta hasil belajar siswa, khususnya  pada kompetensi sistem poros penggerak roda kelas XI TKR  SMK PGRI 1 Lamongan. Untuk mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran peneliti mencoba menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dengan tujuan meningkatkan aktivitas, minat serta hasil belajar siswa.

Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dengan subjek siswa kelas XI TKR  dan aktivitas guru mengajar di SMK PGRI 1 Lamongan dengan menggunakan jenis Penelitian Pendidikan. Penelitian ini ada empat tahap yakni tahap: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) observasi, dan 4) refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, tes, dan angket respon minat siswa. Analisis data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan angket respon siswa diukur menggunakan skala likert sedangkan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat pada hasil belajar klasikal dapat tercapai apabila nilai siswa ≥ 75 dan ketuntasan klasikal ≥ 85%.

Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa kemampuan pengajar dalam beberapa aspek pengajar yang diamati peneliti, meliputi secara aspek persiapan, pelaksanaan, pengelolaan waktu, teknik bertanya pengajar dan suasana kelas. Pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh pengajar dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw diperoleh skor rata- rata 86,03 %. tergolong sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 27 siswa dengan persentase 86,67% tergolong sangat baik.

ABSTRACT

Vocational secondary school (SMK) is an educational institution whose graduates are expected to have the appropriate skills and areas of expertise to plunge into the world of work and can also proceed to perguruantinggi. Therefore, the teacher is required to able to transform their knowledge to students in accordance with the competencies that students have. One of these efforts is the model with the application of the learning that can enhance the activities, interests, and learning outcomes of students, particularly on the competency class wheel drive shaft system XI TKR SMK PGRI 1 Lamongan. To optimize the learning process researchers tried using cooperative learning, jigsaw-type model with the aim of increasing activity, interests as well as the results of student learning.

The object in this research is the application of cooperative learning method in the type of jigsaw with the subject grade XI TKR and activity of teachers teaching in SMK PGRI 1 Lamongan by using this type of educational research. In this study there are four stages: stage 1) i.e. planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, reflection and 4). The collection of data in this study using activity observation sheet teacher, student activities, tests, and now the response of interest students. Analysis of the data acquired is qualitative and quantitative data. The activity of the teacher, the student activity and student response now measured using the likert scale and the student learning outcomes can be seen on the results of classical learning can be achieved if the value of ≥ 75 and students of classical ketuntasan ≥ 85%.

Results of analysis showed that the ability of teachers in some aspects of the observed teacher researchers, include in the aspects of preparation, implementation, management of time, asking teachers and classroom atmosphere. From the management of learning by teachers with cooperative learning method type jigsaw obtained an average score of 86,03%. is very good. While the study results of students who completed as many as 27 students with the percentage of 86.67% classified as very good.
