Abstract

Abstract

In teaching and learning activities, teachers at SMK Negeri 13 Surabaya usually usethe lecture method to students, students tend to be less enthusiastic in learning because the methods used are monotonous.This research uses an experimental method with the research design used is one group pretest postest design. The population in this study is X TPM 2 with a total of 71 students consisting of 36 experimental class students . X TPM 2 at SMK Negeri 13 Surabaya. The results showed that the average n-gain value  of the experiment was 0.3277. The conclusion of this study is that the STAD-type Learing Cooperative Learning Model is effective in improving student learning pretation and collaboration skills.
