Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of family dynamics, internal control location, and familiarity with the school setting on the inclination to become a teacher at Surabaya State University. At Surabaya State University's Department of Mechanical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, quantitative methodologies were used in this study. This study sample consisted of ninety-three students from the mechanical engineering education department of Surabaya State University's Faculty of Engineering. The findings of this research show that: (1) there is a partial positive correlation between teacher interest and the school environment introduction program; (2) there is a partially positive correlation between teacher interest and the internal control space; (3) there is a partially positive relationship between teacher interest and the environment family; and (4) there is a simultaneous or simultaneous positive correlation between the family environment and the school environment introduction program.
