TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF TOKOH UTAMA DALAM FILM “BIG BROTHER 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng” KARYA CHAN TAI-LEE

Bahasa mempunyai peran yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia, terutama untuk berinteraksi dalam situasi sosial. Adanya bahasa membuat seorang penutur dapat menyampaikan maksudnya kepada mitratutur dalam proses bertindak tutur. Terdapat beberapa macam bentuk klasifikasi tindak tutur, salah satunya adalah tindak tutur direktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur direktif yang

digunakan oleh karakter utama dalam film karya Chan Tai-Lee "Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng". Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah film "Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng " karya Chan Tai- Lee dan data penelitian yang digunakan berupa

cuplikan dialog dari tindak tutur tokoh utama dalam film “Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng", Chen Xia. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak bebas libat cakap dan metode catat,

sedangkan teknik triangulasi digunakan untuk mengevaluasi data. Tahap analisis data meliputi: (1) mencatat dialog tokoh utama dalam film “Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng” karya Chan Tai-Lee yang menampilkan tuturan direktif, dan (2) mengklasifikasi serta mendeskripsikan data-data dari dialog tokoh utama dalam film “Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng” karya Chan Tai-Lee menurut bentuk tindak tutur direktif dan fungsinya.

Hasil analisis dari data-data tersebut ditemukan sejumlah 5 data yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga bentuk tuturan direktif beserta tiga fungsinya, yaitu tindak tutur direktif memberi saran dengan fungsi memberi nasihat atau saran, tindak tutur direktif permintaan dengan fungsi meminta (mengajak), tindak tutur direktif perintah dengan fungsi memaksa, tindak tutur direktif menyarankan dengan fungsi memberi saran atau nasihat, dan tindak tutur direktif perintah dengan fungsi memerintah (menyuruh).

Language has a very important role for human life, especially for interacting in social situations. The existence of language allows a speaker to convey his meaning to the addressee in the speech act process. There are several types of speech acts classification, one of which is directive speech acts. This study aims to describe the forms of directive speech acts used by the main character in Chan Tai-Lee's film "Big Brother

大师兄 Dà shīxiōng". This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data source used in this study is the film "Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng" by Chan Tai-Lee and the research data used is in the

form of dialogue snippets of the main character's speech acts in the film "Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng", Chen Xia. The data in this study used the free-talk and note-taking method, while the triangulation technique

was used to evaluate the data.The data analysis phase included: (1) recording the dialogue of the main character in the film "Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng" by Chan Tai-Lee which showing the directive speech, and (2) classifying and describing the data from the dialogue of the main character in the film "Big Brother 大师兄 Dà shīxiōng" by Chan Tai-Lee according to the form of the directive speech act and its

function. The results of the analysis of these data found a total of 5 data classified into three forms of directive speech and its three functions, namely directive speech acts giving advice with the function of giving advice or suggestions, directive speech acts requesting with the function of asking (inviting), directive speech acts commands with a coercive function, a suggestive directive speech act with the function of giving advice or advice, and a command directive speech act with a commanding function.
