PENGARUH METODE EKSPERIMEN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SAINS ANAK KELOMPOK B

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is ti investigate teaching activity on color mixing by using experimental method to the science competence of group B students of Tunas Adipura Kindergarden Surabaya. The subjects of this research were 23 students of group B students of Tunas Adipura Kindergarden Surabaya. Result of the research, which were obtained by using Wilcoxon Match Pair Test,  showed that student’s competence before the use of experimental method and after it was different. It was found that  T observed = 0 was less than T table at 1% significant level of 55. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, there is an influence on experimental method on science competence of group B students of Tunas Adipura Kindergarden Surabaya.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pembelajaran pencampuran warna menggunakan metode eksperimen terhadap kemampuan sains anak kelompok B di TK Tunas Adipura Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Pre Experimental Design dengan model One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu anak kelompok B di TK Tunas Adipura Surabaya yang berjumlah 23 anak. Hasil penelitian yang berdasarkan analisis pada Wilcoxon Match Pair Test menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan sains anak antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan T hitung = 0 lebih kecil dibandingkan T tabel dengan taraf signifikansi 1% yaitu 55. Dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak. Jadi ada pengaruh metode eksperimen terhadap kemampuan sains anak kelompok B di TK Tunas Adipura Surabaya.
