PENGARUH METODE DEMONSTRASI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL POLA BENTUK GEOMETRI PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B TK YASPORBI JEMURSARI SURABAYA

Penelitian Quasi Experimental Design ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap kemampuan mengenal pola bentuk geometri pada anak kelompok B TK Yasporbi Jemursari Surabaya. Populasi penelitian adalah anak kelompok B TK Yasporbi Jemursari Surabaya dengan sampel 15 anak kelompok B1 dan 15 anak kelompok B2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Mann Whitney U-Test ( Uji U) dengan rumus U_hitung < U_tabel,  jika harga U_hitung lebih kecil daripada U_tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh U_hitung=21 dan U_tabel=56, maka 21<56. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal pola bentuk geometri pada anak kelompok B TK Yasporbi Jemursari Surabaya.

Quasi Experimental Design This study aims to determine the influence of demonstration method on the ability to recognizing geometric partterns of the  group B children TK Yasporbi Jemursari Surabaya. The population of the study were children of group TK Yasporbi Jemursari Surabya with samples of 15 children of B1 group and 15 children of group B2. Technique of collecting data using observation and test method. Technique of data analysis of this research use Mann Whitney U-Test (U Test) with formula U_hitung <U_tabel. Based on the results of data processing obtained U_hitung = 21 and U_tabel = 56, then 21 <56. If the price U_hitung smaller than U_tabel, then Ho is rejected and Ho accepted. So, it can be concluded that the method of demonstration has an effect on the ability to recognizing geometric shape patterns of the  group B children TK Yasporbi Jemursari Surabaya.
