PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING TERHADAP KECERDASAN NATURALIS ANAK KELOMPOK B DI RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 CANDI SIDOARJO

Abstract

Laporan penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kecerdasan naturalis anak kelompok B di RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi, dimana pada kenyataannya sebagian besar anak suka membuang sampah sembarangan, corat-coret tembok, dan kurang peduli terhadap hewan dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap kecerdasan naturalis pada kelompok B di RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi. Pada penelitian ini peneliti memberikan penerapan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dimana pada proses pembelajarannya sangat menarik bagi anak, mereka dihadapkan pada konteks dunia nyata sehingga anak mampu menangkap segala informasi melalui panca indera mereka yang menjadikan anak lebih paham tentang apa yang mereka pelajari tanpa harus di dikte oleh guru.
Peneliti merancang kerangka pemikiran berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka dan kerangka teoritis. Kerangka pemikiran tersebut dijadikan acuan oleh peneliti untuk menganalisis dan mencari jawaban atas permasalahan sehingga dapat diketahui sejauh mana pengaruh pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap kecerdasan naturalis anak kelompok B di RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi. Dalam hal ini peneliti memberikan lima treatment dimana dalam setiap treatment yang diberikan berhubungan dengan lingkungan sekitar yang dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan naturalis anak. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Pre Experiment Design dengan One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah participant observation dimana peneliti juga ikut menjadi pengamat dalam jalannya penelitian. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah statistik Non-parametrik dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test.
Dari hasil perhitungan menunjukkan Thitung ≤ Ttabel (0 ≤ 40) yang artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga hipotesis yang berbunyi “Ada pengaruh penggunaan Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap kecerdasan naturalis anak kelompok B di RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi Sidoarjo” dapat diterima.

Abstract

The background of this research is the fact that naturalistic intelligence of the children at B group of RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi Sidoarjo is still low, which is in reality, musthy children usually throw the trash in not particular place, prefer to scratch on the wall, and they don’t aware with the animal nor environment surrounding them. The purpose of the research is to know the effect of using contextual teaching and learning for the naturalistic intelligence of the children at B group of RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi. In this research, the researcher applies CTL, which is the learning process is very interesting for the children. They are given the real world context, therefore they can achieve many kinds of information through their senses which make the students understand more abaout what they learn withoutteacher’s dictation.
Pengaruh Penggunaan Contextual Teaching and Learning
The research is designed based on the literary study and theoretical study. This study is used by the researcher to analyze and getting the answer of the research problem, therefore it can be known how far the contextual learning affects the children’s naturalistic intelligence at B group RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi. In this case, the researcher gives five treatments to the naturalistic intelligence. This research use Pre-Experimental Design by using One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test design. The data collecting method used is participant observation wherw the researcher also becomes the observer. The data analysis techniques used Non-Parametric statistic by using Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test.
The result shows that Tcount ≤ Ttable (0 ≤ 40). It means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore the hypothesis “There is an effect of using Contextual Teaching and Learning for children’s naturalistic intelligence at B group of RA MUSLIMAT NU 139 Candi Sidoarjo” can be accepted.
