PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERMEDIA REALIA TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP GEOMETRI PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B TK DHARMAWANITA DEWI SARTIKA BOJONEGORO

Abstract

Studi ini mengangkat penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif untuk meningkatkan perkembangananak didik. Studi ini mengangkat pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dimana tipe ini dapat diterapkanpada semua tingkatan pendidikan. Suasana yang kondusif, aktif dan saling membantu dalam pengusaanmateri yang disampaikan sehingga hasil belajar dapat dicapai secara optimal merupakan gagasan utamadari pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Dalam penerapannya anak-anak berada pada suatu kelompokuntuk menyelesaikan beberapa permainan-permainan kognitif. Data yang diperoleh dari TKDharmawanita Dewi Sartika Bojonegoro yang menjalankan pembelajaran sehari-harinya hanya denganlembar kerja terdapat hampir 80% dari 27 anak mengalami permasalahan dalam aspek kognitifmatematika yang berkenaan dengan pamahaman konsep geometri pada anak.Kesenjangan antara kondisi ideal yang diharapkan dengan praktek nyata di lapangan ini yangmenjadi latar belakang penelitian untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipeSTAD dengan pemahaman konsep geometri pada anak kelompok B di TK Dharmawanita DewiSartika Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitia pre-eksperimental design dengan onegroup pre-test post-test design, dengan rancangan satu kelompok subyek. Metode pengumpula datayang digunakan adalah observasi partisipan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep geometri anak.subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelompok B TK Dharmawanita Dewi Sartika Bojonegoroyang berjumlah 27 anak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistikparametrik dengan menggunakan uji t atau t-test untuk sampel kecil yang saling berkolerasi.Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung > ttabel (11,31 > 2,06), hal ini berarti hipotesis penelitianyang berbunyi “penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD bermedia realia memberikan hasilterhadap pemahaman konsep geometri anak kelompok B TK Dharmawanita Dewi Sartika Bojonegoro”dapat diterima.

ABSTRACT

This study is raised which applied a cooperative learning to improve the student’sdevelopment. This study concerns about the STAD type that can be applied in all of education level incooperative learning. Supporting environment, being active, and helping each other in masteringmaterial delivered so that the result of learning can be achieved optimally is the main point off STADcooperative learning type. In the application, children are in a group to solve some cognitive games.The data obtained from Dharmawanita Dewi Sartika Bojonegoro Kindergarten which conducts theirdaily learning activities by paper-work only shows that almost 80% from 27 children experience inmathematic cognitive aspect dealing with the children’s understanding in geometry concept.The gap between the ideal condition expected with the real practice in the field becomes theresearch background in this research to find out the result of the STAD cooperative learning typeapplication toward the geometry concept understanding in B-group children of Dharmawanita DewiSartika Bojonegoro Kindergarten. This research uses pre experimental design type with one grouppre-test post-test design, with one subject group. Participative collecting data method id used to knowthe children’s understanding of geometry concept. The research subject is all the student inDharmawanita Dewi Sartika Boojonegoro Kindergarten B-group that consists of 27 children. The2technique used in analyzing the data is non-parametric statistic analysis technique by using WilcoxonMatched Pairs Test with Z formula’s.The calculation result shows that Zhitung < Ztabel (4,54 > 1,64). It means the researchhypothesis stating “STAD with relia media cooperative learning type application gives a result towardthe understanding of geometry concept in B-group children of Dharmawania Dewi Sartika BojonegoroKindergarten“ is accepted.
