PENGARUH PERMAINAN MEMANCING SIMBOL HURUF TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK KELOMPOK A DI TK DWP RANDUAGUNG GRESIK

Abstract

Salah satu tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak-anak TK kelompok A adalah mengenal simbol huruf. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal simbol huruf. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengkaji pengaruh permainan memancing huruf terhadap kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal simbol huruf anak Kelompok A di TK DWP Randuagung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment khususnya non equivalent control group design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yaitu non equivalent control group design tipe rancangan one group design with pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.

Hasil analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yaitu nilai Z didapat sebesar -3,925 dengan p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang kurang dari batas kritis penelitian 0,05 sehingga keputusan hipotesis adalah menolak H0 atau yang berarti terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara hasil post test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penyimpulannya adalah terdapat pengaruh permainan memancing simbol huruf terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok A di TK DWP Randuagung Gresik. Peneliti mengemukakan saran, yaitu sebaiknya (1) guru menggunakan permainan memancing huruf agar pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan meningkatkan semangat belajar anak dalam mengenal huruf; (2) permainan ini dapat dikembangakan untuk pengenalan angka; dan (3) permainan ini dapat dikreasikan dengan benda berbeda.

One of the levels of achievement in the development of group A kindergarten children is recognizing letter symbols. The observation results show that children have difficulty recognizing letter symbols. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of letters fishing game on cognitive abilities in recognizing letter symbols of Group A children in TK DWP Randuagung. The type of this research is quasi experiment especially non equivalent control group design with quantitative approach. The research design was a non equivalent control group design type design one group design with pretest-posttest. Data collection techniques used were test, observation, and documentation techniques.

The results of data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test which is Z value obtained -3,925 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) amounting to 0,000 which is less than the research critical limit of 0.05 thus the hypothesis decision is rejecting H0 or which means there are significant differences between the results of the post-test experimental class and the control class. The result of the conclusion is that there is the influence of letter symbol fishing on the cognitive abilities of group A children at TK DWP Randuagung Gresik. The researcher put forward suggestions, namely preferably (1) the teacher uses letters fishing games so that learning is more fun and increases the learning spirit of children in recognizing letters; (2) this game can be developed for number recognition; and (3) this game can be created with different objects.
