PERBEDAAN RASA PERCAYA DIRI ANTARA ANAK YANG MENGIKUTI PLAYGROUP DAN TIDAK MENGIKUTI PLAYGROUP PADA KELOMPOK A DI TAMAN KANAK-KANAK AISYIYAH BUSTANUL ATHFAL 3 SURABAYA

Abstrak

Percaya diri merupakan aspek yang penting dalam kehidupan termaksud anak. Dengan percayadiri anak akan memiliki keyakinan yang positif. Pada masa keemasan pemberian stimulus yang tepatdapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya dirinya. Adanya Playgroup diharapkan dapat mengembangkan rasapercaya diri anak karena melalui Playgroup anak mendapatkan simulus lebih awal. Playgroup juga dapatmempersiapkan anak masuk TK. Pentingnya rasa percaya diri dan berkembangnya Playgroup dimasyarakat menjadi latar belakang peneliti untuk mengetahui perbedaan rasa percaya diri antara anakyang mengikuti Playgroup ataupun tidak di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 3 Surabaya. Penelitian inimenggunakan jenis penelitian komparasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah seluruh anak kelompok A di TK AisyiyahBustanul Athfal 3 Surabaya.Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan uji T.Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut diketahui nilai ttabel (α = 0,05) = 1,684 sedangkan Thitung = 0,127sehingga Thitung<Ttabel (0,127 < 1,684) maka, Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak sehingga dinyatakan bahwa tidakada perbedaan yang signifikan rasa percaya diri antara anak yang mengikuti Playgroup dan tidakmengikuti Playgroup sebelum masuk TK di Taman Kanak-Kanak Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 3 Surabaya.Tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara anak yang mengikuti Playgroup maupun tidak tersebutkarena SDM yang mengajar Playgroup tidak sesuai dengan kualifikasinya. Hal tersebut diketahui setelahpeneliti mengobservasi tiga Playgroup yang dulu pernah menjadi tempat belajar anak di TK AisyiyahBustanul Athfal 3 Surabaya. Yang ke-1yaitu Playgroup KW, Playgroup ini memiliki 3 guru lulusanSMA, 2 guru lulusan S1 bukan dari PAUD. Yang ke-2 yaitu Playgroup DS memiliki 7 guru lulusan SMAdan SMEA, dan 1 guru lulusan sarjana ekonomi. Playgroup AR memiliki 3 guru lulusan sarjana bukandari kePAUDtan.

Abstract

Self confidence is the children’s important life aspect.The children will have positive beliefthrough their self confidence. Giving approppriate stimuli in children;s golden age will develop their selfconfidence. The playgroup is expected to build children’s self confidence to enter the kindergarten. Theimportance of children’s self confidence and the development of playgroup in the society are thebackground of this research. This research aims to find the defference of self confidence between thechildren who joined the playgroup and those who did not at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 3 kindergartenSurabaya. This research is a comparative research. The data collecting methods are observation,interview, and documentation. The subjects of the research are all of the A group children ai AisyiyahBustanul Athfal 3 kindergarten Surabaya. The data analysis technique is t test.Based on the process, ttable (α = 0.05) = 1.6847, tcount = 0.127. therefore, tcount < ttable(0.127<1.684), Ho accepted and Ha is rejected. It can be concluded that there is not any significantdifference of self confidence of the children who joined playgroup and those who did not before they enterthe Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 3 kindergarten Surabaya. This result is caused by the fact that the teacherswho teach in the playgroup are not the young learner teacher. It is proven after the researcher observedthree playgroups. Those three playgroups are the place where the children of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 3kindergarten Surabaya learnt before they enter kindergarten, the first is KW playgroup. This playgrouphas three teachers who graduate from senior high school, and two teachers who graduate from theundergraduate program outside the young learner education. The second playgroup is DS playgroup.This playgroup has seven teachers who graduate from senior high school and vocational high school.This playgroup also has one teacher who graduate from economic undergraduate program. The lastplaygroup, AR playgroup, has three bachelors. Unfortunately those three bachelors do not come from theyoung learner education study program.
