PENGARUH PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TIPE PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF MENGELOMPOKKAN BENDA MENURUT FUNGSI KELOMPOK B DI TK BELIA KREATIF SURABAYA

Abstrak

Pembelajaran di sekolah yang masih menerapkan pembelajaran klasikal yang didominasi oleh guru membuat anak kesulitan menerima pemahaman suatu konsep pelajaran, seperti pada TK Belia Kreatif Surabaya ditemukan kesulitan anak dalam mengelompokkan benda menurut fungsi. Dari 22 anak sekitar 12 anak yang bisa mengelompokkan benda dengan benar. Tujuan diterapkan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah tipe problem solving terhadap kemampuan kognitif mengelompokkan benda menurut fungsi di TK Belia Kreatif Surabaya.
Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Pre-Experimental Designs dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi nonpartisipant dalam bentuk observasi terstruktur. Data yang dikelola peneliti adalah data pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dengan menggunakan tabel penolong Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh jumlah t tabel=66, sedangkan jumlah t hitung terkecil = -1 sehingga 1<66, maka Ho ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah tipe problem solving terhadap kemampuan kognitif mengelompokkan benda menurut fungsi di TK Belia Kreatif Surabaya.

Abstract


Learning process in the school sill applies the classical learning which gives the teacher a chance to dominate the class. It cause the children get difficulties in comprehending the learning concept. It happens at Belia Kreatif kindergarten Surabaya. The children in this school get difficulties to put the things in the similar group based on their function. 12 among 22 children can put the things in the similar group based on the function correctly. This research aims to find out the effect of problem solving based learning for the cognitive skill to put the things in the similar function based on the function at Belia Kreatif kindergarten Surabaya.
Method in this study using the Pre-Experimental Designs with One-Group pretest-posttest design. The data collecting techniques in this study used observation nonpartisipant in the form of structured observation. The data is the data the researchers administered the pretest and posttest. Analysis of the data by using a helper table Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test.
Based on the analysis of data obtained by the number of T tabel = 66, T smallest count = -1, therefore 1<66. It cases the Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there is an effect of problem solving based learning for children’s cognitive skill to group the things based on the function at Belia Kreatif kindergarten Surabaya.
