Abstract

This study aims to prove whether or not there is an effect of painting activities using the brush painting technique on the fine motor skills of group B children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Sumberarum Dander, Bojonegoro. This research is a quantitative research with the type of research is Pre-Experimental Design with one group pre-test post-test technique. The location in this research is Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Sumberarum Village, Dander District, Bojonegoro Regency with 24 children in group B as the subject. The instrument validity test is carried out by expert judgment and the reliability test uses internal reliability. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test with a significant level of 5%. The average value of the pre-test results for all aspects observed or as a whole is 6,95 and the average value of the post-test results is 10,20. Based on the results of calculations using the Wilcoxon marked level test, it is obtained that Tcount = 0 and Ttable = 81. In this case, it means Tcount < Ttable (0<81), so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is an effect of painting activities using the brush painting technique on the fine motor skills of group B children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Sumberarum Dander Bojonegoro.
