DEVELOPMENT OF AUDIO VISUAL LEARNING MEDIA IN PROTECTING 5-6 YEARS OLD ABUSE AT ALIZAH KINDERGARTEN SURABAYA

Abstract

This research is about the development of audio-visual learning media in protecting children aged 5-6 years at Alizah Kindergarten Surabaya, which is motivated by the number of sexual violence in early childhood, has had a worrying impact on parents. Data obtained from the PPA Symphony shows that as of July 31, 2020 there were 4,116 cases of violence against children. Therefore, it is necessary to develop appropriate and effective media in introducing the concept of child abuse protection. The purpose of this study was to prioritize and the effectiveness of audio-visual media in protecting children aged 5-6 years in Alizah Kindergarten Surabaya. This research is a development research with ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The trial subjects in this study were material experts in early childhood education number 2 and learning media experts number 2, individual trials number 3, small group trials and large group trials number 16 children. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations using structured observation tools and documentation. Data analysis. Product test data obtained by material experts is 100% and media experts are 93.3% very valid information. Based on the calculation of the t test, the value obtained is 12.6253> 2.13145, meaning that t count> t table, thus it can be stated that the hypothesis testing by applying the statistical formula obtained is rejected. It can be said that the use of audio-visual media can be declared effective in protecting the abuse of children aged 5-6 years.
