PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM MEMBANGUN KARAKTER SIKAP TANGGUNG JAWAB ANAK USIA DINI DI RUMAH PADA SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of parents in building responsibilities of children at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a type of qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data collection technique in this study used in-depth interviews, observations and documentation with subjects of four parents and four children aged 5-6 years in Masangan Kulon village and then analyzed using the Milles and Huberman models. The data validity test of the research used is source triangulation. From the results of this study, it was found that the role of parents in building early childhood responsibilities at home during the Covid-19 pandemic was: 1) Parents provide rules at home, 2) Parents accompany children to do their duties, 3) Parents instill a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS). The benefits of this research are expected to provide motivation for parents in building the character of early childhood responsibility attitudes at home, as well as really paying attention to child development, especially in the attitude of responsibility.
