Role of Social Support, Quality of Life, and Sharenting on Emotional Well-being of Mothers in Indonesia
Abstract
Being a mother is challenging because in addition to being a caregiver, a woman is also expected to fulfill the role of wife. According to 5 years of statistical body research, mothers' stress levels have climbed 95%, causing emotional distress. Mother's emotional well-being is a state in which a mother is happy, satisfied, emotionally stable, and in control of herself. The emotional stability of the mother is required in caring for the child so that the mother can provide a good early age education in the development of the child. The purpose of this study is to determine how social support, quality of life, and sharing relate to and affect mothers' mental health. For data processing, the Hayes Macro Process is used in this study's comparative quantitative causal methodology. In this study, the cohort consisted of mothers with 0-8-year-old children, and the average age of the mothers was 37. The results showed that p<0,00, sig<0,00, NPC<0.59, and R2<0.57. It can be concluded that the presence of relationships, influence, social support, quality of life, and sharenting, as well as contributions such as sensitivity and policy from the community to the environment, and the wiser the mother is at sharenting, can improve the emotional well-being of the mother
