Self-confidence is one of the important things and is quite a highlight in the problem of social emotional growth and development. Many things highlight the confidence in each individual. The close and close relationship between parents and children has a considerable impact on the maturity of thinking and interacting with others. The relationship between father and son must be good where father can understand and accept their children. Participating in the child's growth and development has a continuity that is periodically and continuously in the next stage of development. The involvement of a father also occurs at a long and quite intensive level in establishing relationships and utilizing all available resources both affection, fisco, and cognition in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between father's love affirmation and self-confidence in children in East Java. This research uses quantitative types with survey methods. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26 for hypothesis testing. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between father's love affirmstion and trust in children. This is reinforced by the value of sig. below 0,05. Love affirmation can increase self-confidence in children because love affimation is positive and constructive.
