The Relationship between Parenting Patterns and Spiritual Intelligence of 5-6 Year Old Children

Abstract

The role of parents is very important in the world of education of their children, even the place of early education of children is from the family. Parenting for children also needs to be considered so that children get affection treatment from their families. Parenting can have an impact on a child's intelligence, especially his spiritual intelligence. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the significant relationship between parenting style and spiritual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The method used in this study is quantitative. Data was collected using survey techniques. The analysis used in this study is correlation analysis. Based on data obtained from the field, the results show that there is a relationship between parenting patterns and the level of spiritual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. This is evidenced by the results of correlation analysis, namely there are Sig. values of 0.000 < 0.05 which shows a relationship between two variables.
