The purpose of this research is to develop learning media and see the feasibility and effectiveness of the media developed. In this case the researchers developed audiovisual-based phonics learning media so that they could help students, both teachers and parents. The method used by researchers is research and development (R&D) by developing products or perfecting products with the ADDIE type of development. The research stage consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and ends with the evaluation stage. The evaluation stage is the culmination of the success of the research by conducting the Pretest and Posttest. The results of the study can be seen from the feasibility of the media through the validation of material experts to get a percentage of 93.75% and media experts by 90% and user trials of 91.6%, the effectiveness of the media seen from the level of children's understanding of initial literacy increases by getting a percentage of Pretest 49,5% Posttest 75%.
