PENGARUH PERMAINAN KAKUMA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract

Children's cognitive and critical thinking abilities are very important to be stimulated and developed with the right method. The goal to be achieved in this research is to develop the critical thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years through the KAKUMA game with the help of media that is easily available in the surrounding environment. This study used a quantitative research approach with the type of Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 12 children in the experimental class and control class. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. This study uses the Alpha Cronbach formula with the help of SPSS 22 for windows. Data analysis technique using Paired Sample T Test. If the significance value or Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 then the hypothesis or Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Conversely, if the significance value or Sig (2-tailed) > 0.05 then the hypothesis or Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. The results of the research show that children learn through trial and error in order to be able to achieve a better level of development. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, it shows that the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.054 <0.05, if it is rounded up, the result is 0.060, according to the decision-making basis for the Paired Sample T Test, it can be concluded that the KAKUMA game has no effect on the critical thinking skills of Group B children in TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Pepelegi.
