Abstract

This research aims to produce a product and determine the effectiveness of the picture guessing application on the logical thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Klitik 2 Kindergarten, Ngawi Regency. The research carried out is a type of research and development (R&D) with a development model using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this research were group B at Dharma Wanita Klitik 2 Kindergarten, Ngawi Regency. In this research, the data collection technique uses an assessment instrument sheet. The data analysis technique used in this research uses Wilcoxon match pairs. The results of the expert assessment obtained a score of 95% from material experts, from media experts a score of 93.75%, while from the trial the teacher got a score of 100% and 95.8%. Based on the effectiveness results, the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.001 so that p < 0.05 or 0.001 < 0.05, because the results of the significance value are smaller than 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an average difference. The average score between the pretest and posttest increased in the posttest results, so it can be concluded that the use of the picture guessing application is effectively used to improve the logical thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years.
