IMPROVING CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY THROUGH STEAM-PJBL ACTIVITIES IN GROUP B
Abstract
This classroom action research aims to improve critical thinking skills through STEAM-PjBL activities. The research subjects were children from group B1 of TK Muslimat NU 74 Roudlotul Jannah for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 19 students. The data collection techniques used in this research were observations made by colleagues and documentation in the form of photos of children's activities in the learning process. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in critical thinking skills through STEAM-PjBL activities based on the evaluation of the results from cycle I of children's activities at 73% and a success rate of 26%, while cycle II of children's activities was 92% and the success rate was 59%. From the description above, it can be concluded that STEAM-PjBL activities can improve critical thinking skills in group B1 children at TK Muslimat NU 74 Roudlotul Jannah Sidoarjo.
