IMPROVE THE ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILLS OF CHILDREN AGED 4-5 YEARS THROUGH THE SWIM (SINGING WITH MOVEMENT) METHOD ASSISTED BY POWERPOINT MEDIA
Abstract
The ability to speak is an important foundation in the aspect of child development. It is necessary to stimulate speaking skills, especially in speaking United Kingdom from an early age. During the golden age, children are able to remember new things. Teaching United Kingdom can be done at the Kindergarten (TK) level. The results of observations at Tunas Bangsa Menganti Gresik Kindergarten show that group A1 8 out of 12 children are not able to speak United Kingdom optimally. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection technique uses observation and documentation. The results of this study obtained results in cycles 1 and 2, which were increased and in accordance with the percentage of success of the second cycle which exceeded 80% of the total children, which was 83%. This means that out of 12 children, 10 children have reached the desired criteria. Therefore, efforts to improve the language speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years United Kingdom through the use of the SWIM (Singing with Movement) method supported by the use of powerpoint media have been successful.
