Meningkatkan Kemampuan Anak dalam Mengenal Warna melalui Media Permainan Dakon Kluwung di Pos PAUD Terpadu
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the cognitive improvement of children in recognising colours in the age group of 3-4 years at PPT Mekar Indah Pakal Surabaya. The research method used is class action research (PTK) with the research subject technique of 10 children from 20 students, observational analysis techniques and photo documentation. The formulation of the problem in this research is “how to improve the cognitive of children aged 2-3 years in recognising colours through the media of dakon kluwung in PPT Mekar Indah Surabaya”. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 3 meetings. In cycle I and the cycle discussed are children’s activities and improving the ability to recognize colors with dakon kluwung media to understand and understand 1-3 colours, analysing data using the percentage method. Based on the research results, there is an increase, namely cycle I, children’s activity reaches 65% and colour awareness shows 67%, which means that it has not yet reached 85%. In cycle II for Children’s activity reaches 85% and colour recognition increases to 86% which means it has reached 85% according to the set percentage. This shows that the use of dakon kluwung can increase the ability to recognize the colours of the 3-4year age group in PPT Mekar Indah Pakal Surabaya.
