Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak Melalui Bermain Plastisin Usia 3 -4 Tahun Di PPT Dunia Anak Simomulyo Surabaya
Abstract
The background of this research is based on the initial observation data which showed the condition of the ability to use finger muscles and the coordination between the eyes and fingers. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of fine motor skills in children after the implementation of the play-dough method. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were 20 children aged 3-4 years from Group A. The location of the research was at PPT Dunia Anak Simomulyo Surabaya. The research instruments used were observation sheets and documentation.The results of the pre-cycle showed that 35% of the children's fine motor skills had not developed. After the first cycle, there was an increase of 65%. In the second cycle, it increased to 75%. This shows an overall improvement of 80%, which meets the success criteria of 80%.The conclusion of this research is that play-dough activities are very effective in improving fine motor skills in children aged 3-4 years at PPT Dunia Anak Simomulyo Surabaya.
