Abstract

This research aims to determine the utilization of Rainbow Stik media in improving the ability to recognize numbers 1-5 in children aged 3-4 years. The research location is at PPT Harapan Bunda 2 Surabaya. This research uses a classroom action research method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 10 children. Data was collected through direct observation and documentation during learning using Rainbow Stik. The research results showed that Rainbow Stik media was able to improve the ability to recognize numbers 1-5. In the first cycle, 50% of the children were able to recognize, name, and match the number of ice cream sticks with the numbers on the Rainbow Stik. In the second cycle, this percentage increased to 80%. In addition to improving numeracy skills, the use of Rainbow Stik also increased children's attention and engagement in learning. Rainbow Stik is recommended as an effective learning medium that can be applied in early childhood education institutions to support the development of numeracy skills.
