Meningkatkan Kreativitas melalui Teknik Finger Painting Pada Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun di Pos PAUD Terpadu Bhakti Bunda
Abstract
Abstract
Creativity is an important aspect in early childhood development that needs to be developed through various interesting learning methods. One technique that can be used is finger painting, which allows children to explore freely with colors and textures through direct touch. This study aims to improve the creativity of children aged 3-4 years through the finger painting technique at the Bhakti Bunda Integrated PAUD Post. The method used is the Kemmis & McTaggart classroom action research (PTK) model consisting of two cycles. The subjects of the study were 20 children aged 3-4 years. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches. The results of the study showed an increase in children's creativity after the application of the finger painting technique. In cycle I, 55% of children showed creativity in mixing colors and making simple patterns. However, reflection on cycle I revealed that some children were still passive and lacked confidence. After improvements in cycle II, the percentage of creativity increased to 85%, with children more enthusiastic, active, and able to produce more varied works. In conclusion, the finger painting technique is effective in improving the creativity of early childhood. It is recommended that PAUD educators use it as a fun and innovative learning method.
