Peningkatan Kemampuan Mengenal Lambang Bilangan 1-10 Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Melalui Permainan Rodaka
Abstract
This research aims to improve the ability to recognize the symbols of numbers 1-10 in children aged 5-6 years through wheel games at Harapan Kindergarten Surabaya.This research uses class action research (PTK) of the Kemmis and Mc Taggart methods, through two cycles consisting of cycle I and cycle II which include the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were 15 children of group B of Harapan Kindergarten Surabaya aged 5-6 years. The data obtained is guided by the observation sheet of the ability to recognize the number symbol. The results of this study showed an increase in children's ability to recognize number symbols as evidenced by the average score of students before the study of 50%. After the implementation of cycle I, the average score percentage became 62.41%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average class increased to 83.10%. With an increase of 20.69% in cycle II, it is stated that all students have met the success criteria so that this research is sufficient with the implementation of two cycles. In conclusion, wheel game activities are very effective in improving children's ability to recognize the number symbols 1-10
