Peningkatan Kreativitas Anak Melalui Kegiatan Finger Painting Usia 4-5 Tahun

Abstract
This study aims to enhance the creativity of children aged 4-5 years through finger painting activities.Finger Painting is a method use to foster children’s creativity. In this activity, the researcher discovered ways to make chidren feel joyful and enthusiastic about participating, whether in group or individual setting. Finger Painting is a learning-through-play activity where children are free to explore various forms, color modifications, and other aspects of creativity. By providing various supporting materials such as glitter. Beads, and paper cutouts, children become more eager to try drawing different shapes based on their imagination.
This classroom action research was conducted at TK Buah Hati Bunda with 13 children as research subjects. Based on observations, the children’s creativity during finger painting activities had not yet emerged, which prompted the use of the classroom action research(CAR) method. Creativity is an important aspect in early chidood development that involves imaginative thinking, idea exploration, and self-expression. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycles consisted of three sessions, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results showed that throught Finger Painting activities, chidren demonstrated significant improvements in creativity, including more varied color usage and freer, more uninhibited expression 80%.
