Abstract
Describe the ability to distinguish geometric shapes of children aged 3-4 years in the implementation of learning by utilizing geometry game media at PPT Bougenville Surabaya. This research uses the design of Classroom Action Research (PTK) or in English called Classroom Action Research. That includes preparing plans, actions, implementation, reflecting to design the next action. Based on the results of research on teacher activities, children's activities, and the ability to recognize shapes contained in cycle I and cycle II at PPT Bougenville. It can be concluded that teachers' activities have increased by 18%, then children's activities have increased by 24.3%, and children's ability to recognize shapes through simple activities has also increased by 21.85%. From the results above, it can be concluded that the ability to recognize shapes in children is still low, from 15 children to 13 children, with the above activities can help children improve their ability to recognize shapes through geometry media.
