Meningkatkan Kemampuan Lambang Bilangan 1-5 Melalui Bermain Loose Part Pada Anak Kelompok A
Abstract
The study aims to improve the ability to recognize number symbols 1 to 5 through loose parts play in group A kindergarden children at TK Islam Al Karomah 2 surabaya. This research was motivated by the low ability of children to recognize number symbols. The subjects of this study were 14 children. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation and documentation. The results showed an improvement in children’s ability to recognize number symbols from 1 to 5. In the first cycle, the children’s ability reached 65%, and increased to 80% in the second cycle. Based on these results, it can be concluded that playing with loose parts can improve early childhood’s ability to recognize number symbols.
