Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Melalui Kegiatan Melipat Origami Bermotif Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Taman Indria Surabaya
Abstract
This study was conducted at Taman Indria Kindergarten Surabaya due to problems related to children's fine motor skills which are still low and need to be improved, both in terms of learning methods from teachers and the media used. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of patterned origami folding activities in increasing teacher activity, child activity, and children's ability to improve fine motor skills in early childhood. The results showed a significant increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Teacher activity increased from 49% in cycle 1 to 75% in cycle 2, with an increase of 26%. Children's activity also increased from 53% in cycle 1 to 82% in cycle 2, with an increase of 29%. Furthermore, children's ability to experience a very significant spike, namely from 54% in cycle 1 to 82% in cycle 2, with an increase of 28%. Based on the results of the research and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Taman Indria Kindergarten Surabaya can be improved using patterned origami folding activities in the learning process by each child folding origami paper directly and classifying it according to the teacher's instructions, namely accuracy, neatness and speed of folding patterned origami paper.
