meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus melalui kegiatan meronce pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di PPT Putri Duyung
Abstract
his classroom action research aims to enhance the fine motor skills of 3-4 year old children through stringing activities at PPT Putri Duyung. Fine motor skills play a crucial role in early childhood development, laying the foundation for various skills such as writing, drawing, and performing daily activities. Stringing activities were chosen as an intervention because they involve finger and hand movements that train eye-hand coordination, precision, and patience. This research employs a qualitative approach with a classroom action research method conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 3-4 year old children at PPT Putri Duyung. Data were collected through observation and documentation of the children's fine motor skills before and after being given stringing activities. Data analysis was performed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the research indicate an improvement in children's fine motor skills after participating in structured and continuous stringing activities. Stringing activities proved effective in stimulating fine motor aspects such as grasping, inserting objects into holes, and arranging simple patterns. This research implies the importance of stringing activities as a fun and effective method for developing fine motor skills in early childhood.
