Peningkatan Keterampilan Sosial Anak Melalui Permainan Tradisional Engklek Pada Kelompok B Tk Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 27 Surabaya
Abstract
This study aims to improve children's social skills, especially the ability to wait for their turn and obey the rules, through the traditional game of engklek in group B at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 27 Surabaya. The background of this study is the importance of social skills in the development of early childhood, where many children still have difficulty in waiting their turn and obeying the rules when playing. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles, involving 14 children. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed that in the first cycle, only 40% of children were able to wait their turn well and 57% obeyed the rules. However, after reflection and improvement in the second cycle, the ability to wait their turn increased to 82% and obeying the rules increased to These findings indicate that the engklek game is effective in improving children's social skills, as well as strengthening interaction and communication between them. This study recommends the use of traditional games in the early childhood education curriculum to support the development of better social skills.
