EFEKTIFITAS MENGENAL ANGKA MELALUI MEDIA MENEMPEL PAPAN ANGKA TERHADAP ANAK USIA 3-4 TAHUN
Abstract
Early childhood schools in the Surabaya area are Integrated Early Childhood Posts. One of them is the Manukan Kulon Integrated Early Childhood Post Education institution that focuses on developing the potential of the early childhood foundation phase to a higher school level, namely Kindergarten Early Childhood, in this case the cognitive development of recognizing numbers. The purpose of this study is to examine in depth the effectiveness of improving the cognitive ability to recognize numbers through the game of sticking to the number board. This research is in the form of Class Action Research which is carried out using the Kemmis and MC Taggart methods, namely through two cycles consisting of cycle 1 and cycle II which include the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were around 10 children of group B aged 3-4 years. In the implementation of the first cycle, the child's ability to recognize numbers of around 70% still has not reached the target and in the second cycle the students have shown an increase in their cognitive ability of around minimal or equal to 80%.
