PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI FUN BOX HIJAIYAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL HURUF HIJAIYAH PADA ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN
Abstract
This study aims to produce and determine the feasibility of a product in the form of a Hijaiyah Fun Box application for improving the ability of 4-5 year old children to recognize Hijaiyah letters. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were Group A children aged 4-5 years at TK Islam Al-Fatah Surabaya. Data collection and analysis were conducted using interview and questionnaire techniques presented using descriptive analysis. The results obtained showed that: 1) Validation conducted by material experts and media experts indicated that the Hijaiyah Fun Box application is feasible for use, with material feasibility percentages of 92.86% and media feasibility of 91.67%. 2) The assessment given by the Group A kindergarten teachers showed that the Hijaiyah Fun Box application is very good and feasible for use with a percentage of 93.75%. Effectiveness testing using a pretest and posttest showed a significant increase. Based on the statistical results of the post-test with the Mann Whitney U Test, the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 is smaller than 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted; this indicates that there is a difference in the mean post-test results between the experimental and control groups. Thus, it can be concluded that the Hijaiyah Fun Box application media is effective for improving the ability of 4-5 year old children to recognize Hijaiyah letters.
