PENGARUH MEDIA DOMINO ANGKA TERHADAP KEMAMAPUAN MENGENAL LAMBANG BILANGAN ANAK KELOMPOK A TK SABILUL MUTADIN

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi di TK Sabilul Muhtadin mojokerto khususnya di kelompok A, ditemukan masalah yaitu kemampuan dalam mengenal lambang bilangan masih kurang. Hal itu terjadi karena guru di TK Sabilul Muhtadin menggunakan cara mengajar yang kurang bervariasi. Sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran, masih terdapat sekitar 60% dari 30 anak dikelas yang belum dapat mengenal lambang bilangan. Kurangnya kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan tersebut menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan anak kelompok A TK Sabilul Muhtadin.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi-Experimental jenis Non Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Desigh. pada penelitian ini masing-masing berjumlah 15 anak dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik nonparamentrik dengan Mann-Whithey U test (Uji U) dengan rumus Uhitung ≤ Utabel. Penelitian ini dikatakan signifikan karena adanya dua pengaruh variabel jika Uhitung ≤ Utabel.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan bahwa nilai Uhitung ≤ Utabel atau 44 ≤ 56. Maka diputuskan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh dari penerapan media domino angka terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada kelompok A TK Sabilul Muhtadin. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut, disarankan agar penggunaan media dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dapat dijadikan pedoman untuk menambah variasi belajar yaitu dengan menerapkan media domino angka untuk mengenalkan lambang bilangan.

Abstract

Based on the observation at Sabilul Muhtadin Kindergarten in Mojokerto especially in A group, the researcher found that the children’s ability to recognize numbers was still lacking. It happened because the way of teaching done by the teacher was less variegated. Thus, in the teaching and learning practices, it was found that there were 60% of 30 children in class who cannot recognize numbers. The problem described above motivated the researcher to conduct this study. The purpose of this research is to improve the students’ ability to recognize numbers in Sabilul Muhtadin kindergarten.This study used a Non Randomized pre-test and post-test Control Group of Quasi-Experimental research design. The subjects of this study were 15 children both for the experimental and the control group. The data analysis technique in this study used the nonparamentrik statistical analysis with the Mann-Whithey Utest with the following formula Ucount ≤ Utable. This research would be said significant when both variables influenced with Ucount ≤ Utable.Based on the result of the Mann-Whitney test calculation, it showed that the value of Ucount ≤ Utable was 44 ≤ 56. Thus, it could be said that Hypothesis null was rejected. It can be concluded that applying domino media affected the students’ ability to recognize numbers in Sabilul Muhtadin kindergarten. Based on the conclusion above, it was suggested that the use of domino media in learning activities can be used as guidelines to increase the variety of teaching and learning practice.
