UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN DALAM MEMBUANG SAMPAH PADA TEMPATNYA MELALUI VIDEO ANIMASI PADA KELOMPOK B DI TK RINA RIA SURABAYA
Abstract
This study aimed to improve children's knowledge of disposing of waste in its proper place through animated video media in Group B at TK Rina Ria Surabaya. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 13 children in Group B. Data were collected through observation and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using percentage calculations. The results showed that the use of animated videos could improve children's knowledge of disposing of waste in its proper place. In the pre-cycle stage, the children's learning mastery reached 38.46%, increasing to 61.54% in Cycle I and reaching 84.62% in Cycle II. This improvement indicates that animated videos were effective in helping children understand the importance of disposing of waste properly and maintaining environmental cleanliness. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that animated video media can improve children's knowledge of disposing of waste in its proper place among Group B children at TK Rina Ria Surabaya.
