PENGGUNAAN MEDIA KARTU HURUF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOSA KATA PADA ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN
Abstract
This research was motivated by the limited vocabulary skills of children aged 4-5 years at TK Muslimat Robin Sumenep. The children had difficulty expressing ideas and showed low enthusiasm in language activities. The aim of this study was to describe the process and results of improving children's vocabulary skills using letter card media. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 12 children. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and developmental assessment sheets. The results showed an increase in learning completeness percentages from the initial condition to Cycle I, and further improvement in Cycle II until the success indicator was achieved. It is concluded that letter card media are effective for enriching vocabulary and increasing children's motivation and participation in language learning.
