Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a fundamental role in fostering children's overall development, including social-emotional development related to disciplinary behavior. Discipline in early childhood is developed through consistent habituation, enabling children to understand rules, take responsibility, and regulate their behavior in daily activities. However, many children still experience difficulties in following classroom rules, maintaining order, and consistently carrying out daily routines. One strategy to improve children's disciplinary behavior is the use of a star board as a visual reward medium. The star board provides children with star symbols as rewards for demonstrating disciplined behavior, thereby increasing learning motivation, self-confidence, and encouraging the consistent practice of positive behaviors. In addition, this medium enables teachers to monitor children's behavioral development more systematically. This study aims to examine the use of the star board in improving disciplinary behavior among Group B children at TK Nidaul Jihad, Sapeken Village. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of innovative and effective learning strategies for fostering disciplinary behavior in early childhood education.
